Women Chemists Committee of the American Chemical Society

The Women Chemists Committee (WCC) serves the membership of the American Chemical Society. The organization’s mission is to be leaders in attracting, developing and promoting women in the chemical sciences.The four goals of the WCC are to Attract women to a profession in the chemical sciences, to take an advocacy position within the ACS on issues of importance to women in the chemical sciences, to provide leadership for career development opportunities for women in the chemical science, and finally to promote and recognize the professional accomplishments of women in the chemical sciences.
